Anime Lane at J-Pop Summit Festival 2012
J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL is a Japanese pop culture-themed street fair that covers the grounds of Post Street from Webster to Laguna and the Peace Plaza of Japantown, San Francisco. Over 55,000 people attended last year's event, enjoying Live Music, Shows, Contests, Movie Premieres, and a wide array of some of the best vendors in the area. This year's festival is hosted by NEW PEOPLE in cooperation with the Japantown Merchants Association.
JPSF takes place the weekend of August 25-26 and runs from 11am to 6pm each day.
The J-Pop Summit Festival is free for attendees and open to all.
We expect over 70,000 to attend this year! It'll be great!
Anime Lane
AOD has partnered with the J-Pop Summit Festival to create Anime Lane. Anime Lane is a special section of the Festival dedicated just for anime and manga vendors and artists. Essentially, it's a combined Dealer's Room/Artist Alley, all right there on the street.
