Artists Alley

Our Artists Alley features the best local community artists. They come to show off their work, take commissions, and make a name for themselves. We provide a casual atmosphere where you interact with the artists one-on-one, so you work with them, and maybe even learn something new.

See you at AOD 2010!

We are ready to go and the countdown has begun. Check out all of our artists!

Seller's Permit information for Artists

Here at AOD, we get a few questions from artists regarding a Seller's Permit number.

Officially, we have to request the Seller's Permit number for all artists, except for those who declare themselves as an "occasional" seller. This is handled through the official BOE-401-D form

All artists must complete the BOE-401-D form. The completed form can be included with the Artists Alley form, or simply handed in at the convention. We will have extras, too.

If you have questions about getting a Seller's Permit and its numbers, the best place to start is the Official Board of Equalization forms and publications site. It contains the applications needed to get a Permit, and all background information on whether or not a Seller's Permit is even needed. Overall, the process is fairly straightforward, but necessary.
