AOD at Nite
Since it was such a blast at AOD 2011, AOD at Night is back for this year! In addition to our usual Saturday night staples of the Masquerade, video games, and karaoke, we've leveled up our evening and night event offerings! Stay after dinner, stay the night, and enjoy our new track of night events!
AOD Celebrity Jeopardy!starting on Sat at 9 pm in Main Stage This is AOD Celebrity Jeopardy! Our Guests of Honor are testing their knowledge skills to win money for their favorite charities. We'll have questions on Sports Teams and Historical Events and Video Games. But how will they handle categories like "Words that Sound Dirty, but Aren't"? Can they answer on "Things You Shouldn't Put In Your Mouth"? Will they know anything at all about "Games That End With 'eet Fighter'"? Come down and find out! All of our guests will take home something, but the better they do, the more money they'll win! The winning Guest of Honor will take home $500 for their favorite charity, as well as the accolades of an entire audience. Be sure to root your favorite Guest for the $500 top prize! Ken Pontac & Neil Kaplan Talk Dirty or Something (18+ only)With Ken Pontac & Neil Kaplanstarting on Sat at 11 pm in Live Events 1 Neil and Ken have been talking about doing a panel together for AOD at Nite, but the details are hazy. We're sure it would be amusing and epic, though. And there WILL be American Karaoke.
Masqueradestarting on Sat at 7 pm in Main Stage Always a staple of AOD, costumers gather together to compete and show off their talents. Your favorite character, your own creation, or references to insane internet memes, we've seen it all compete on stage in the Masquerade costume contest, competing for the coveted "Best of Show" prize. This year's Best of Show will receive $500, Runner-up Best of Show will receive $250, and Best Construction/Best Presentation $125 each! The Zombie Apocalypse and YouWith Hunter Warburton, Cameron Congdon, Justin Black & Brandon Warnerstarting on Sat at 9 pm in Live Events 1 This is your source for a comprehensive conspectus consisting of exploration of the repercussions and ramifications of the inevitable Zombie Plague Outbreak. Topics Include: avoidance of pestilential vectors, new-world survival strategies, undead self-defense, and Q&A.  |
