Guests of Honor

Presenting our AOD 2013 Guests of Honor:

Adam Harrington

With 15 years under his belt as a VO pro, Adam Harrington is one of Northern California's top voice actors. While he enjoys the commercial VO, narration, announcing & other aspects of his job, video game VO is his true passion. Harrington has been an avid gamer from the day he found an Atari 5200 under his Xmas tree in the early 80s. He loves sharing his gaming VO experiences and views with anyone who will listen... in fact, it's often difficult to get him to shut up about it once he gets started. Very much in his comfort zone when interacting with gamers.

Adam is well known throughout the industry for his seemingly endless stable of diverse character voices: http://youtu.be/ayu8ogeH41c

He has voiced many hundreds of gaming characters for scores of epic titles, cult favorites, and yes, a few clunkers here and there (which often are the most fun to reminisce about). Some of Harrington's more iconic gaming characters are his five "League of Legends" champs: Shaco, Mordekaiser, Ryze, Karthus and Kassadin. He and his friend and fellow LoL champ voice Erik Braa are well known by legions of dedicated "Summoners" for their fan-interaction (some examples: http://www.youtube.com/user/harringtonvo) With over a half million views combined, the Summoners particularly enjoyed Harrington's "LoL Cypher" and the LoL Reddit AMA he and Erik recently hosted.

A current role of note, the ultra-creepy antagonist Andy St. John http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stBUzPUwBnQ in Spike TV's VGA Game of the Year, "The Walking Dead". One of many awesome collaborations with longtime partner in crime Telltale Games.

And many MANY more characters, some of whom you might know quite well. Can't wait to meet you all at AOD 2013!

Steve Yun

While still a young college student and part-time hacker in 1998, Steve got his first job at an anime company as a digital animator. It was a dream come true for any fan who grew up on Robotech and Macross to be working somewhere in the anime industry. After slaving away through 80 hour work weeks and one really bad 100 hour work week where he started hallucinating from being awake too long, Steve called it quits and went back to Riverside where he got his B.A. in Creative Writing. Stay in school, kids!

Fresh out of college and eager to work in the anime industry again, Steve joined Harmony Gold to build the Robotech.com website, and has since co-produced and associate-produced several other projects as well, including the Macross restoration, the Robotech:Battlecry video game, the Robotech: Invasion video game, Robotech Remastered and Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. Steve has also been featured in an anime documentary called Geeks, which he has still not had a chance to see.

Since its launch, Robotech.com has constantly been one of the busiest anime-related destinations on the internet, being the subject of a Conan O'Brien feature and mentioned on countless anime websites. You can email Steve at info@robotech.com to send him Robotech-related fan mail, complaints, constructive criticism and suggestions.
