AOD 2016 is pleased to welcome Team Hideo—the group behind Hideo – A Theatrical Concert of Music from Japanese Animation and Video Games—back for their sixth year at the con! This year, AOD attendees (aka YOU) have voted for which songs they play. What is Hideo? Hideo is an all-original story expressed through both musical and dramatic performance—a "theatrical concert"—featuring music from Japanese animated series and video games. Since the premiere in 2010, Team Hideo has brought together the best, most enthusiastic video game and anime-loving musicians, actors, and artists on stage for FanimeCon in San Jose, California; at PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington; and to produce two EPs (with a third in the works!): Songs from The Shiny Mug and An Evening at The Shiny Mug.
